What could be the possible reasons that Provera didn't work? ******* I would imagine that your uterine lining is not stimulated by Estrogen. The lining will not respond if there is no prior Estrogen effect on it. Another round of Provera sounds good to me. It is very easy to determine if this 'Estrogen Effect' is present. During the pelvic exam the doctor can take a small sample of the cervical mucous; air dry it; then look at it under the microscope. The doctor may want to do an expensive hormone test, but the quick look seemed better to me.
