Urethra Pain

I am not sure how to exactly describe the problem to my Dr. so I am hoping someone here experienced something similiar or a forum Dr. can take a guess at this.

5 weeks ago I delivered vaginally. It was frist a vacuum attempt delivery and ended up in a forcept delivery. I have noticed since delivery a strange aching pain or bruise sensation in or above the urethra(mostly at the top of the urethra). It sometimes hurts when I first stand up after laying down(feels like a pull sensation). It sometimes hurts like crazy as I am urinating or at the end of urination. I have had urinary tract infections before and this pain is not the same as what I experienced with those infections. It almost feel like a horrible pull sensation and actaully if touched in that area feels like a bruise.

Anyone know what this could be? I go for a postpartum follow up next week and I am trying to figure out how to describe this without sounding like I have lost my marbles.
