OBGYN said I should have a FSH blood test to see how close I was to being through menopause. So when I called for results it showed I was in menopausal range.NO KIDDING.Was he pulling my leg or can it really show how close you are to Menopause.Just dissapointed in what they told me and certainly the wasted money.I am 48 and know I am menopausal. My last period was Dec. and thought you had to go a year without period before you're actually through. He said that wasn't true.I get more confused every day about this.I know I feel like crap.Taking natural progestrone now to supposedly offset the estrogen in my body. Will it always work and will you always have a period?Susan
