If you contract mumps in the first trimester (3 months) there may be a slight increase of chances of miscarriage.

Even though the virus can cross the placental barrier (sic) -- there is not evidence that it causes any infection in the fetus.

I would guess that you are protected by your previous case of mumps.

I am wondering about your concern, how would you alter the course of your pregnancy.

You might well check with an infectious disease expert because my information might be out of date.
