Previous message: Elizabeth: "keratosis and hpv" koolei: Only 30-35% of spontaneous abortions (miscarriages) need a D&C - but the procedure is benign (usually) and the consequences so severe (infection, etc.) without it that I used to 'scrap them all' and I never had anyone get into trouble. I have, however, see some severs problems when D&C was not done. I must admit that when I was the complete products I would hedge on my rule of always scraping.
