>> I had bought an over the counter product that has seem to have worked for me. I recommended that my husband might use the cream from this product and apply it ... ******* Good move. The stuff is not gender specific in its action, It is the yeast that it kills.
>> My friends have since told me that he may need ... to get an antibiotic to have the infection totally cured. Is this true? ******* NO! An antibiotic will make a yeast infection WORSE!

>> Also, with my 3 yr. old daughter….Was having some itching in her privates. Upon examining her she had some discharge much like my own. Could my husband or myself have passed this on to her by showering in the same bathtub she bathes in? ******* Probably NOT. It would do no harm to use the cream on her if she is irritated. Her doctor should be consulted. There are many things that can cause irritated bottoms in young girls. ******* The yeast (Monilia Albicans) which causes the trouble is a normal inhabitant of the human skin and mucous membranes. It will cause few if any problems unless something contributes to changing the acidity of the membrane. Such thing as Diabetes: Antibiotic therapy: Pregnancy: Oral sex: Debilitating illness (with weight loss). If the problem recurs consult your physician. The book, "The Yeast Connection" is an excellent reference for the chronic yeast people. ============================================= *Note: Opinions expressed here are for educational purposes only.
