I received a response message from Mary Ann Boulette, Production Manager of OBGYN.net to post my question on the womens forum. I was diagnosed with a large Fibroid and the rest of my uterus is fibrous. The report says that my uterus is enlarged to 16cm. I can clearly feel the fibroids as my entire lower stomach is enlarged looking as if I am 5 months pregnant. I don't have any abnormal bleeding or period. The only symptoms I have are the back pain and the heaviness in the lower abdomen. I'm 32 and have never had children. I want very much to have children. I've changed my diet and taken herbs, but they don't seem to be shrinking. I've lost at least 15 pounds and stay under constant stress. have an appointment with a specialist in the next two weeks, but my internist has not given much encouraging news. I believe that God can do all things, even the impossible. I'm going to this highly recommended doctor with hope of maintaining my fertility. What advise do you have for me..have you known of anyone like me who survived this with their uterus is tact. I really need your help. Thanks.
