Feedback on Forum

Hi!

I would like to make a comment about posting on the forum, and then responding to the answers you receive. Sometimes a post generates a lot of responses from readers, in which case a general acknowledgement is fine, unless of course the person wants to address each person. When I posted my question about doctors addressing patients there were a lot of interesting responses and so I posted a response saying so. In the case where someone obviously puts in a lot of time and effort answering a post (I'm thinking of Lisa's question a week ago about the genetics of blood type) it is really kind of disappointing not to receive any comment at all. It's like "hello? you out there somewhere?" Feedback is good-was the info helpful or do you disagree and why? I realize that not everyone is able to go online regularly, however this lack of response makes me think twice about taking the time next time I think I have information or experience to offer. I don't know if the doctors are bothered by this or not. It was my understanding that this forum was not just for questions for doctors, but maybe it is, or that's what some are looking for.
