Re: some advise please??From: anonymous@obgyn.netFri, 29 Jan 1999 12:00:17 EST
Alex: Yes, unfortunately, granulation tissue often is a recurring problem. The pain is the enigma for me? With the ultrasound he/she should get more information. Pain on deep penetration with intercourse (I would think) is possibly from adhesions inside holding an ovary or some other internal organ to the top of the vagina? One solution for this is to get a plastic sponge at the store and make a 'penis bumper' out of it. Select a sponge about 1 to 2 inches thick and cut a hole in the middle of the sponge that would be big enough for the penis. By using this during intercourse you shorten the penis therefore it does not hit deep causing the pain. Since most of the male sensate focus areas are around the head of the penis and on the first inch or two of the shaft he should suffer no loss. Deep penetration is not much of a factor in females. (If it hurts it can be a real turnOFF) Your doctor sounds like a good physician who is trying everything to get to the bottom of the problem. Good luck! ============================================= *Note: Opinions expressed here are for educational purposes only.
