I did the very same thing myself!! I was an exchange student in Germany with a lot of American students in my language class. We had homework to hand in one day and i had spotted a mistake but didn't have a rubber (eraser) on me. I was really desperate because I wanted to keep my grade average. I frantically tapped the guy sitting in front of me on the shoulder and said "Can I borrow a rubber it is really urgent." He looked at me for a minute then went into his wallet and pulled out a condom....He then said,"You don't have to borrow it, you can just keep it!" Now this time it was my face that was priceless!!
