I am taking metformin for treatment of the insulin ressitance and PCO. I had normal blood sugar levels for fasting (about 85?). My 1 hour glucose tolerance test was over 159. Me RE says I will most likely have Gestastional Diabetes. Now for the main question. Can women go on insulin during pregnancy and then go off of it like they were never taking it? My Reg OB says that I will need to take insulin. Is this normal? Can it cause problems? Where can I find some information? I Am confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please help!!!!!

Please feel free to email me with any suggestions and answers. AmyKern@yahoo.com
