Thanks, Janet Hi Janet, Welcome to the club, incontinence club, hysterectomy club, they seem to go together. I had TAH/BSO 2 years ago and have been incontinent with no relief since. I had NO problems before the surgery, now I also wear a pad everyday. I too have done the Kegels with no help seen. My urologist told me incontinence goes hand and hand with this surgery. Wonder why the GYN's don't know this, or tell us before surgery? My urologist says lack of uterine support the cutting of ligaments and even lack of hormones will cause stress or full incontinence. The only thing he offered, you didn't mention was if you take antihistamines it will cause the urethea to constrict maybe offering better control. But they aren't something we can stay on indefinately. So, what do we do? I hope some of the doctors will answer this question as I personally don't want to have to wear a pad everyday the rest of my life. I was only 40. Long time to go, I hope. Angela
