In reply to: sharon: "alesse" I am 40 and have been on Alesse for 6 months now and have not gained ANY weight. I noticed a slight appetite increase the first month but was aware of it so was careful. I also noticed a slight mood change- slightly agitated. Coincidently I started taking St. John's wort at about the same time and noticed this mood change go away! Now I'm taking the Alesse and St. John's wort and feel the best I have felt in a long time. My PMS is almost nonexistant now.
