question about test

I'm having a hysterosalpingogram done tomorrow. I am a recurrent miscarrier. We have had all of the testing done to determine cause including chromosome, antibodies, the whole nine yards. I've had 3 D&C's and one laparoscopy to remove old tissue from one of my tubes. My question is this: My doctor says she's looking for a septum in my uterus. Could that not have been seen through the laparoscope that they did in April (previous ob)? All tests are normal including progesterone. Have been pregnant 5 times--one went to term, others aborted very early on. Any insight on this test would be greatly appreciated!
