No appendicitis does not usually affect pelvic organs -- BUT -- an appendicoele abscess CAN cause adhesions, etc., which WILL affect he function of the ovaries. YOU had the abscess.

Sounds to me like you need a Lapscope exam of your pelvis. Adhesions cannot only be diagnoses, but the can be cut (lysed) through the quarter inch incision in your abdomen.
