I am a 29 yr old female with two children. Shortly after my second child I had my tubes tied. I began having pain right away and a year and a half later am still having extreme pain. At the same time as my tubes were done a VINII growth was also discovered and treated. A number of years back I was told I had a tipped uterus, but never had any problems.I should also mention that I am a recovering eating disordered person. My first child was born with no problems except that I retained part of the placenta and had to have a D&C 4 wks postpartum to stop the hemorraghing. There were no problems with my second in 1997. My OB/GYN has tried me with hormones to try to settle my uterus down but they make me sick to take. She is recomending a hysterectomy at this point to cure the problem as my uterus is still very bulky and has been for a long time. She doesn't see this clearing up or settling down. I guess I need to know that this surgery is needed, I don't plan on more children but, it is a serious operation to go through. Also, could my lifestyle have contributed to this? I don't drink, smoke or do drugs...just have a problem with nutrition. Thank you Tammy CORRINS >in young lady without pregnancies.Represents growth of uterine lining
