I probably shouldn't read that before, because most had a negative experience. The pain was described from mild to horrific. Well, I went in sort of expecting the worst, but really it was relatively painless for me. The radiologist was very gentle & she explained ever procedure as she went along. She even told me when to expect pressure and/or pain. The only "pain" I felt was when the catheter was removed. I did feel slight pressure during the insertion. I had taken 600 mg of ibuprofen an hour before procedure. The only real pain I felt was about a hour or two afterwards and during the following day. I had menstrual like cramps which was easily alleviated by ibuprofen. Remember everones pain tolerance is different, but hopefully the procedure will be relatively painless for you. Hope this helps. > >-- >Rose
