I know from experience that it is indeed possible. It has happened to me a few times. The only way to tell for sure what the actual cause is though is to go in and get an appointment.
With my history of yeast infections from antibiotics and B-Strep vaginal infections, one phone call to my doctor's office is all it takes to get and oral antibiotic and prescription yeast infection cream called in to my pharmacy. No questions asked :) Give your doctor a call and perhaps you can combat possible "double-trouble" in a similar manner?
