Killing Yeast? Or is it necessary to wash underwear in hot water and bleach after a vaginal infection? Can these organisms cause additional infections if the underwear are not laundered adequately? Or should the underwear simply be thrown away and replaced? I am curious because I have suffered frequent infections over the past five years and I want to do everything I can to prevent recurrences. The cultures never show anything but yeast, and sometimes not even that. This is an exasperating problem -- it really stinks to live half your life sore and itchy!
