I have no diarrhea/constipation, but do drink carbonated beverages. My doctor at student health put me on Levbid for about 5-6 weeks. The medicine did not take away the pain and I graduated before I could go back and see her (i.e. had no more health insurance). I assumed that since the medicine did not help, I shouldn't take it. She never mentioned irritable bowel syndrome, but I guess it might have been what she was thinking (since I looked up Levbid and found out what is does). I just assumed that since my periods have been weird the past two months (a dark discharge that requires no sanitary protection) and that my bowel habits were normal that it is a gyn problem? Thanks for your help.
