But more interesting to me is: why you are asking a bunch of strangers instead of the doc who gave you the treatment?! 2) hCG levels will give you information about the progress of the pregnancy. It doesn't influence what you or your doctor can do about it. But we do them to avoid false hopes and delays to diagnosis when there is a miscarriage, and to give hope and encouragement when they are rising normally. Good Luck! Don
