Jane, The advice you were given is completely correct. Unfortunately, nobody can give you an answer to "what are my chances..." Partly it depends on the extent of damage, whether there are any other factors (like adhesions), your age, etc. If you don't get pregnant after 6 mo.s or so of trying, consider IVF. Don
