Not unusual to have a little break-thru spotting when changing pills --may last 2-3 cycles.Demulen is a more estrogenic pill and gives more support to the uterine lining to prevent break-thru.A common cause of this type bleeding is infection in cervix or uterine lining--chlamydia most common. With your history--would want to look further with sonogram of uterine lining and cultures.
