Hi Marie, I donot know of any chat rooms, have tried myself to find one. I too have had complications from this surgery, if you would like to email me we may have some of the same problems and could help one another. I have had a very slow recouperation, had a difficult time from the start, even in the hospital. I didnot drive for the longest time (i am post op 9 weeks tomorrow) TAH/BSO with appendectomy. I had to have numerous tests post op 5 weeks: early pap smear, wet prep that about killed me, a CAT SCAN of my pelvic region, and pelvic ultra sound. I have been on antibiotics for pelvic infection, have had bladder/urethra spasams, a severe UTI since Thanksgiving. Have been on cystospaz/ditropan for spsams, and am on cipro now for severe UTI. I am having vulva itching/swelling only sporatically (thank goodness). I am doing better today, and hope and pray to continue to heal. Whatever your problems, keep a good emotional attitude, give yourself time to heal, for all bodies are different, and pray. Good Luck. Becky
