Albuterol and Pregnancy

Hi :)

I am 15 weeks pregnant. I went to my regular family doctor for my bronchitis. The Dr thought it was serious enough that he gave me an albuterol (90 mcg) inhaler. He also gave me an antibiotic and a cough med. The only thing that has been really helping me breathe and not cough myself to a grave is the albuterol. He said to take two puffs 3x a day. Nothing else was helping so he said I could increase this to four or five times a day as needed. While he did check to make sure all the meds were OK for pregnancy I am just nervous about downing so much albuterol. While it has been a God send for helping me breathe it still causes me great anxiety to be taking this daily now for a week and it seems like it will go longer.. no end to my cough in sight. Is it still safe to be taking that albuterol that much for that long?

Any advice you can give would be so greatly appreciated.. I am quite anxious!

Regards,
