Hi Susan,

I am sending you the URL for the Menopause Special Section at OBGYN.net. It's full of information just for you.

http://www.obgyn.net/meno/meno.htm

No need to feel bad for not going to the doctor sooner. I understand.......I had Breast Cancer 3 years ago and I didn't go for a vaginal exam till a month ago.. I don't think this is a valid excuse But; I think some of us get so scared we don't want to find out anything else is wrong with us. Very Bad way to think but sor some of us "it's just the way we are".

I got a 100% clean check-up and my GYN understood and was very kind. He did Not agree, he understood!

Don't beat yourself to a pulp Susan just make the appointment, go, get the good news, and Be Happy!

If you have not had a Hysterectomy you really Should get a Pap test done. Not just because you had colon cancer, but because it's the quickest, easiest, most painfree way of making sure we don't have cervical cancer.

Bite the bullet and make that appointment now.
