birthcontrol pillsFrom: Adrienne (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 16 Dec 1998 14:52:02 -0600 (CST)
I was wondering if anyone knows if the pill regulates you even when going off them? I was extremely irregular before going on them, getting only 2 or 3 periods a year. I have been on them for 6 years. I took a break about 4 months ago to see if they had regulated me. After 4 months, I still hadn't gotten a period on my own, but instead I just got a very painful ovarian cyst. In the next year I plan to start trying to get pregnant, but I am wondering if it is possible for someone like me, who has such irregular periods, to get pregant without the use of fertility drugs? Does anyone have any advice or a success story of someone in my situation who was able to get pregnant on their own?

Thank You,
Adrienne
