Am taking cystospaz >PRN. ============================= I too had urethra spasms after my vaginal hyst. I was prescribed Doxycyclene.. it worked for me. Also, just to let you know.. I didn't have a bladder or urinary infection. Just irritation from the vaginal approach. The spasming went away and then returned again about 6 weeks later. Went back on Doxycyclene and it cleared up and I haven't had a problem since then. Good luck.
