Strep throat in early pregnancy

I am 10 weeks pregnant and my 4 y.o. son has strep throat. At this point, is there anything I can do to reduce the chances that I will get it? Is strep throat any more dangerous in early pregnancy than normal? Do I need to take action to prevent the infection, or do I just need to make sure I get a sore throat treated promptly?

Thanks, Andrea
