I am currently using estrogen patches. My doctor prescribed Prometrium in response to my complaints about mood swings and lack of energy. I am concerned about using Promethium because I cannot find much info on it, and I am also worried about weight gain, bloating, etc... So far, I cannot find any info on WHY I need progesterone. I have no uterus or ovaries, what's it for?? Any help would be appreciated!!
