Another site that I consulted referred to it as tuberculosis of the pelvis. The only information we get from her doctor is that it is a rare disease. He does not seem to have much information on it but somehow thinks that there is no cause for alarm or any long term effects. While she awaits treatment, we have a few questions. How is this transmitted? Can it be passed to other sexual partners? It would also be helpful if we could find more information about this disease on other websites.
