Vickie: I am in absolute agreement with you. Provided you and your doctor have discussed what possible problems could be encountered, and treatment options, it is IMHO very reasonable to say" if the condition found in my pelvis warrants hysterectomy, please proceed forthwith." I do not understand why a second operation and a second anesthesia should be undertaken when one operation can definitively solve the problem for you. Good Luck Dr.B
