spotting thru luteal phaseFrom: Lori (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 28 Nov 1998 19:02:48 -0600 (CST)
I've read lots of posts on here about women who have spotting for a few days before their period, but mine lasts longer even. I've had this problem for the last 5 cycles. From about the time I ovulate (according to temps) until my period (only 7-12 days later) I have spotting. I don't take my temps every day anymore, just periodically to keep tabs, and during the luteal phase they are around 98.3 (normal for me). I just had a lap done to remove endometriosis at the beginning of this month. I am now spotting again before my period is due. Can I have low progesterone and/or luteal phase defect even if my temps are up during the lp? I go to see my dr. on Friday, but I'm curious and thought I would ask to see if anyone else had any experience like this? Thanks in advance for any answers.
