I was anemic for about 3 months my hemo was down to a 9 because the bleeding was so heavy with large clots lasting for 14 days. I have been having this problem since january of this year. I was finally diagnosed in September of this year with fibroids being the cause. I was put on Hormone therapy in may, only since about october have my periods been a little normal lasting only 6 days instead of 14.
