Dear Linda, I am not a doctor, but I have had three dermoid cysts.. one that weighed 10 lbs and caused a torsion. I would recommed getting it removed ASAP.... I have lost both of my ovaries due to these cysts and I am only 26... Good luck to you :) Anni
