I have no idea about the relationship (if any) between cysts and having your tubes tied. It's really too early to spectulate about what to do, since you don't know what type of cysts and the size. If they are functional cysts and they are not that large, the best treatment will probably be to let them resolve on their own. If they are not functional or they are large (over 6cm), that is an entirely different story.

Removing your ovaries is a big deal. Your ovaries are producing horomones that give you a lot of benefits. And although you might have read about women who get repeated cysts (like me), I think that is the exception, not the rule. I have repeately gotten functional, painful cyts and I don't want to give up my ovaries unless I have to. Read up on cysts, and wait for your visit with the doctor. Good luck!
