All that itches is not necessarily yeast(candidia)--usually associated with a thick "cottege cheese" discharge, reddness and swelling of external geetalia.May be transferred to partner.Several species of candida, and not all responsive to Diflucan.Increase in progesterone in early preg.will cause more glycogen in vaginal tissues and may increase incidence of "yeast"infections.--perhaps also associated with a decreased immune response in preg.
