Question/picked up radiology report of transvaginal ultrasoundFrom: Janet (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 13 Nov 1998 21:52:01 -0600 (CST)
Hi, I have a question for the doctor or anyone experiencing this. I had a transvaginal ultrasound last week to see why I was still getting these one day periods and bleeding coming out on the paper when I wiped after urinating and moving my bowels during my menstral cycle. I've been told by many that when I had my supracervical abdominal hysterectomy, the doctor might have left some of the uterus on the cervix that I kept and this is what's giving me these light periods. But today when I picked up the radiology report all it stated was the size of the cervix and ovaries and that they were all normal with no masses. I'm very happy and relieved to read this but I'm still confused that I'm getting a period and bleeding after not having anymore uterus. I'd appreciate any comforting advice and info as to why this is still happening to me each month. Thanks,Janet
