I wrote about this before but got no answer...I am a 22 year old female with recurring bladder problems. THese include frequency of urination, pain during intercourse raning from mild to extremely bothersome, and periodically haveing to wake from sleep to urinate. I have had problems with UTI's in the past, but those were treated with antibiotics. I seem to have had these symptoms for 6-8 months so far, on and off. What could this be? I have been tested for STD's and am fine. Could this be interstitial cystitis or just a run of the mill bladder infection? Someone please give me some advice because I am really gettign worried that i could have a serious problem. I should also mention that I have frequent yeast infections and am on Ortho-Tricyclen. my symptoms began around the time i started taking the BCP and so did the frequent yeast infections. Should I try switching pills?
