The literature actually calls it AGUS (the "c" is silent:-)) Atypical Glandular Cells of Undetermined Significance. "In favor of endocervical cells" has no real siginificance other tha n the cytologist ifeels these cells are coming from the endocervix ( the lining of the cervix). The colposcopic biopsies are the crux of the diagnosis since the colposcopy is usually negative in AGUS. The ECC (endocervical curettage) is the most important result here.
