Birth control and A+ blood typeFrom: Jennifer (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 3 Nov 1998 20:12:04 -0600 (CST)
Dear Sir/Madam/Dr: My sister has been taking birth control for quite some time. During her years of taking birth control she has also had serious head aches. She recently has had head aches almost every day. My aunt said she had heard of a problem with taking birth control and having an A+ blood type. The problem had to do with head aches and a increase in the chance of having a stroke and/or some other problems(I am not entirely certain of her information or resource.) My sister has A+ blood. She stopped taking her pill about a week ago and has not had a head ache since. Could you please tell me any information you can about this topic. Or even tell me if you have ever heard of it before.
