do some birth control pills cause anxiety?

i recently switched (after a month) from estrostep to ortho-trycyclin. while on estrostep i actually felt really "alert" and healthy, but since i switched to ortho-trycyclin i have felt a lot of anxiety i have never before experienced. it's like i can't relax. most of the tension seems to reside in my stomach--a place i have never before stored stress--and it's getting a little old. the only correlation with this new tension, anxiety and stress is the new pill. the other aspects of my life haven't changed much...

is this normal? does it go away and, if so, how long before it typically stops? should i switch back to estrostep on which i had no noticable side effects?

thanks for your responses to my previous post and i'd love to hear your takes on this one!
