Hi Janis,

I just had a yearly physical with one of our OBGYN.net docs here in Austin, TX and he and I talked about this in case my bone density test came back reccomending I take Fosamax. I am already taking EVISTA.

As a post breast cancer patient this is the best med on the maaaarket at this time for us gals.

Well his advise (if I needed to take Fosamax) was to take the Fosamax in the am and then take the EVISTA mid-day.

The reasoning for this is because Fosamax although a great drug for bones can be rough on your stomach and you do need to Not eat or lie down for 1/2 hout to 1 hour After taking it.

So yes they are compatible but not great taken together.

BTW my test came back Great and I don't need it!
