HCG levels,6 weeks pg (8wks since LMP)From: Wendy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 28 Oct 1998 17:50:44 -0600 (CST)
I'm finally pg! Today I started my 7th week of pregnancy (9wks since LMP). My LMP was August 30th, and due to BBT, I know I ovulated on September 16th. Yesterday I went in for an ultrasound. They were unable to detect a heartbeat, but did see a yolk sac. Dr.s were afraid that it is not a viable pg, so they had me go in for HCG levels. On Oct. 7th - a.m. -HCG levels were 2,000 (4th week of pregnancy, 6 weeks since LMP) On Oct. 27th - a.m. - HCG levels were 112,000 (end of my 6th week of pregnancy, 8 weeks since LMP) Questions: What is a normal HCG level for the end of your 6th week/beginning 7th? Should an ultrasound dr. be able to hear a heartbeat @ the end of 6 weeks? Thank you very much in advance for your time. I go in for another blood test tomorrow. wendy
