Sorry, I wasn't clear on my first post. The day I had the intense pain was the first day of my period, which was Sept. 25th. The ultrasound was October 26th. (Had another period on October 18th; no substantial pain, but the cycle was not ovulatory.)

It could be that you >had a cyst on that ovary that ruptured. Each cycle, one or both of the

Would the fact that the fluid was still around the ovary a month after the intense pain be significant? (I saw the ultrasound, and it looked like an xray of a raw egg, with the eggwhite (fluid) surrounding the yolk (ovary).

FYI: I had an appendectomy 10 years ago, with the absess behind my uterus and obstructing my right ovary from ultrasound view. The surgeon's report notes that there were adhesions, as expected, between the omentum and abdominal wall.

I am trying to get pg (no luck), and have been tracking my temps since April. They show I have ovulated every cycle but this last one. Would my temps still be biphasic if I am completely ovulating?

My advice would be to allow tincture of time to sort things out. Things >that would increase the urgency would be worsening pain. Are you on any
