My daughter Londa is 26 and was diagnosed with Thalassemia Minor years ago .Her periods are very very heavy and she gets very weak, light headed and headaches. She has been to doctors ,but they haven't done anything for her , one doctor said too much iron wasn't good, but I think she is losing too much blood and she is also anemia .I have notice most doctor don't know too much about Thalassemia and even the medical book only have a small article on it.

Could you please send me some info and do you think her heavy periods are due to the Thalassemia? >
