During the first two days I usually have to change my pad every 1/2 hour to 1 hour. The clots have become larger with each period. Some are so large that I have to pull them out. I also am experiencing flooding followed by virtually nothing for a couple hours. About 3 years ago it was discovered that I had fibroids. Could the fibroids be causing the heavy flow and bloodclots?
