Adenocarcinoma on pap

I recently had a ap smear showing possible adenocarcinoma in situ, but *large* cone biosy was clear. This is the third pap showing atypical, ususally ASUS I beleive it was called.

I asked the oncologist if they were positive that is was cervical cells they were veiwing and not endometriel (uterine cells?) and he did not know the answer. He stated they *appeared* to be endocervical, but could not be certain.

He suggested we wait two months and do nothing until then. Does this sound like solid protocol?

Anyone available to help please??

Thank you !!
