Newer radiologic procedures, including MRI (expensive) and SIS (saline infusion sonohysterography -much less expensive) are in this category. Through discussions with Dr. Hill (my SIS mentor), I have made the diagnosis a few times sonographically. My advice is wait for the radiologic results.
