McIntosh, MD: "Re: ????'s about wet preps" yesterday during my physical my doctor decided to do a wet prep from a sample from my uterus. she said that my uterus looked like it was something (I don't remember what she said). From medical lititure that I have read wet preps are usually done to test for STD's, but I am a virgin so that is not a possibility. So my question for you is what are some reasons why she would do a wet prep?
